Nilo & Isabela
Chamusca Estate, with its 36 hectares of coffee, carries a history marked by the efforts of Nilo Vilela. After the loss of his father in 2002, Nilo, at the age of 17, found himself taking over the lands without knowing exactly where to begin, but driven by the need to continue the family legacy. To start his journey as a producer, he decided to plant coffee, a crop that his father had already explored on part of the property.
With determination, year after year, he invested his time and resources in expanding the plantations, facing the typical difficulties of life in the countryside but always keeping his eyes on the goal of thriving.
However, the frost of 2021 became a painful milestone in the farm's history, and the plantations were severely affected and damaged, facing the difficult task of cutting and replanting part of the crop.
Despite the challenges, he carries a deep pride for every piece of the farm and the work he has done over the years. Each coffee plant is a living reminder of his dedication and the unconditional support of his family. He walks through the property, knowing every detail of the plantations and recalling the effort invested in their creation.
Nilo's greatest drive comes from the love for his daughter and the family that surrounds him. It is for them that he rises every morning, always seeking a better and more prosperous future for all. His deepest wish is that one day his daughter and nephews can continue the legacy of Chamusca Farm, preserving the story of faith and love being told there.
